Annapurna Base camp Trekking begins a short drive from Pokhara to Phedi. This trekking includes Ghorepani (Poon hill) one the best Himalayas view point in Annapurna regions. Our 16 days Annapurna base camp trekking offer one of best views of all Annapurna Ranges including Dhaulagiri and many other popular peaks of Nepal. Annapurna Base camp Trekking is also known as Annapurna sanctuary Trekking. Annapurna Base Camp trekking is the classic trekking which is situated under the immense south face of Annapurna. Annapurna base Camp is popular trekking and a moderate trekking that starts at Phedi a short drive of about 45 minutes from Pokhara takes you to the foot [Base Camp, 4130m] of the Mt. Annapurna, one of the most magnificent peak in the world. During trekking, you will also visit natural hot spring at Jhinu danda.Annapurna base camp trekking passes through the middle hills of Nepal with Gurung (Gurkhas soldier’s villages) and forests of oak, magnolia and rhododendron. The trail then follows the Modi Khola River into the Sanctuary where you enter a hidden amphitheatre with a superb view of snowy peaks.

From Annapurna Base Camp trekking you will see Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna Fang, Annapurna I and III, Gangapurna and Machhapuchhare (know as the Fishtail because of its distinctive shape).
Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is not particularly difficult trekking although there are some steep climbs and a few narrow bridges. It is a good a trekking to do if you would like to get into the high Himalayas without the longer acclimatization period required for some of the other trekking. The highest altitude reached is 4,130m at Annapurna Base Camp.
After Annapurna base Camp Trekking, you will follow same way trekking back to Chhomrong (a beautiful village with finest lodges) and will catch another trail to Ghorepani poon hill. We ascend Poon Hill (3193m) for sunrise; an impressive mountain panorama is revealed with spectacular views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna 1, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, the fluted peak and Machapuchare, known as the fishtail because of its distinctive summit shape.

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters).
There you will be met by our Airport Representative and transferred to hotel by private tourist vehicle. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m/2986ft.)
Breakfast. Our Trekking guide will come at the Hotel an early morning at 6:30 am to pick you up and we walk from the hotel about 10 minutes to get bus station. Bus leave at 7 am to Pokhara. We drive to Pokhara by tourist bus, enjoying an afternoon sightseeing on the lakeside and boating at Phewa Lake. From Kathmandu to Pokhara, it is 206km and it takes 6 hours.B/L

Day 03 : Drive to Naya Pul (New bridge), and trek to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m/4905ft).
Breakfast. After an hour drive to Naya Pul then commence our trek to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town beside the Modi River. Head up the main trail to Sudami where we climb gradually up the side of the valley, reaching Hile (1495m) before pushing on to Tirkhe Dhunga. From here the trail crosses a stream and then ascends a step stone staircase to the large Magar village at Ulleri (2070m). 3:30 hours B/L/D

Day 04 : Trek to Ghorepani (2850m/9350ft).
This is a pleasant walking day today. We trek through rhododendron and oak forests and across streams before making a short, final climb to Nangethanti. From Nangethanti we head up to Ghorepani (2850m). 5:30 hours.B/L/D

Day 05 : Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2520m/8268ft).
An early start and an hour hiking to Poon Hill (3195m) leads us to a brilliant spectacle, this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. After spending about 45 minutes on the hillside, we come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and start walking to Tadapani. From Ghorepani the trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960m). We descend to reach Banthanti, before winding our way to Tadapani (2540m). 6 :30 hours B/L/D

Day 06 : Tadapani to Sinuwa (2310m/7579ft).
Dropping down from Tadapani Gurjung the route offers good views of the upper Modi valley. The path then starts the long ascent high above the west bank of the Modi Khola. We pass the village of Chhomrong which lies tucked at the very base of Himal Chuli. From Chhomrong the trail descends until Chhomrong Khola then trail begins a slow climb as we head up to our destination for the day - Sinuwa. 6 hours.B/L/D

Day 07 : Sinuwa to Deurali (3150m/10335ft).
We proceed to Kuldi Ghar about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs walking. There is a clearing in the forest a little further on, from there the route goes very steeply down a bank of rock and then levels out, running through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge, keeping always on the west side of the river. We pass by the pasture of Tomo, and then the very neck of the gorge at pantheon Barah, where there is a small trail and a shrine. The track climbs to Himalaya hotel at the campsite where we will overnight. 6 hours.B/L/D

Day 08 : Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4090m/13418ft).
Today we climb on past the Machhapuchhare Base Camp (which isn’t really a base camp since climbing the mountain is not permitted) to the Annapurna Base Camp. This area is called the Annapurna Sanctuary since it is totally surrounded by mountains. From here it is a two-hour trek to Annapurna Base camp, which offers spectacular views. 5 hours. B/L/D

Day 09 : Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan (2600m/8580ft). 5:30 hours. B/L/D

Day 10 : Dovan to Chhomrong (2110m/6923ft).
Once we have passed Khuldi Bikas where there is an experimental sheep Farm, the trail continues through rhododendron and bamboo fields. 4:30 hours. B/L/D

Day 11 : Chhomrong to Ghaundrung (1940m/6365ft).
This is an easy and short day trekking. From Chhomrong the trail descends through forests to Gurjung Khola and then the trail ascends slightly until Kimche, we reach Ghandrunk about noon. Ghandrunk is a village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal; they have their own dialect, culture, costume, and life style. Ghandrunk is one of the famous destinations of trekkers for its beautiful mountain views and easy reach from Pokhara or Kathmandu. Our early arrival means we have the afternoon to visit the Annapurna conservation office, Museum and explore the village. 4:30 hours. B/L/D

Day 12 : Trek from Ghaundrung to Naya Pul; then drive to Pokhara (910m/2986ft). Walking 4:30 hours and drive for an hour. B/L

Day 13 : flight to Kathmandu  free day for shopping O/N at hotel B/B

Day 14 : After breakfast transfer to the airport for departure from Nepal.
